Shuttle Service/Ground Transportation: Airport Shuttle Bus Service: Pacific Western Airport Express operates daily every 30 minutes from Toronto’s Pearson International Airport. The Westin Harbour Castle is the first stop coming in from the Airport and the last stop returning to the Airport. The Bus picks up directly in front of the hotel on the east corner. CME Hours: This activity has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 27.25 credit by the American Academy of Family Physicians. This includes 25.75 Prescribed and 10.25 Elective credits. Because some sessions run concurrently, no more than a 27.25 total of credits may be reported. For other credit, STFM will assist individuals by providing information needed to the extent possible. Positions and Opportunities Booklet only. * Circulation 6,000 Electronic Classroom: STFM is excited to continue these task-oriented, computer educational and experiential workshops for the 2004 conference! These electronic workshops are specifically directed toward the understanding and acquisition of computer skills and methodologies. Workshops will be open to limited audiences beginning Thursday morning and will offer hands-on training through Saturday afternoon. Workshops have limited attendance and require an additional preregistration fee. Please mark the appropriate space on the registration form to preregister. Computer Lab: This lab is provided as a servie to members allowing them to check your e-mails, catch up on work, and work on projects with colleagues. Lab Hours: 7 am–6 pm, Thursday–Saturday. Business Session: The STFM Annual Business Meeting will be held on Friday morning, May 14. The Business Meeting offers members the opportunity to learn about key Society activities and address issues of concern to the STFM Board of Directors. STFM members not attending the conference can attend the Business Session without registering for the conference. Election Procedures: The nominees for STFM office will be announced and nominations from the floor accepted during the luncheon on Thursday, May 13. Candidate speeches will also be given during the luncheon. Ballots will be included with the registration packets of members qualified to vote. Ballots must be turned in at the registration desk by 5:30 pm on Thursday, May 13. A majority vote, taken from votes cast at the meeting and from absentee ballots, will determine the election. Results will be announced at the Business Meeting on Friday morning, May 14. Registration Confirmation: When registering on-line at www.stfm.org, registrants will receive an immediate e-mail confirmation. Those individuals registering by mail or fax will receive confirmation via e-mail within 2 weeks after the registration form is received in the STFM office.
