"Recapturing the Soul of Medicine: Reclaiming Meaning in Our Working Lives Through Reflections, Conversations That Matter, and Exploring and Living a Conscious Life"
Jose Bayona, MD, MPH, Thelma Jean Goodrich, PhD, University of Texas HSC at Houston
Caring for patients and families requires an ongoing commitment that proves to be difficult when our own identity and professional practice have been shaken to the ground, commonly leading to the demoralization and lack of meaning in our work. Through the use of art, guided reflections, story telling, and group inquiry with other passionate and creative minds, participants in this workshop will have the opportunity to reflect on their work, renew their spirit, remember themselves, and revitalize their practice.
Registration fee: $75; Box lunch included; Mark the appropriate box on the registration form to preregister.

6:00 - 7:30 pm
