Philip Chard
Philip Chard, is President & CEO of NEAS, Inc., a global EAP, Work/Life and management consultation firm. He writes an award-winning weekly column in the Milwaukee Journal titled “Out Of My Mind,” and is author of The Healing Earth. Philip is a contributing writer to Chicken Soup for the Woman’s Soul and has been a guest expert on ABC Television’s 20/20. He holds a master’s degree in counseling psychology and taught behavioral sciences at Michigan State University’s College of Human Medicine and the Marquette Family Medicine Residency for 7 years, where he received an Outstanding Faculty Award.

Susan McDaniel, PhD
Susan McDaniel, PhD, is Professor of Psychiatry and Family Medicine, Associate Chair of the Department of Family Medicine, and Director of Family Programs & the Wynne Center for Family Research in the Department of Psychiatry, at the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry. She is nationally and internationally known for her publications on families and health, especially behavioral health in primary care, and family dynamics and genetic conditions. She is the author of many peer-reviewed journal articles, and has co-authored or co-edited 11 books. She has served as editor of Family Systems and Health since 1995.

John Abramson, MD
John Abramson,MD, worked as a family doctor in Appalachia with the National Health Service Corps and for 20 years in Hamilton, Massachusetts. He is currently on the clinical faculty at Harvard Medical School. He was twice voted “best doctor” in his area and three times selected by his peers as one of a handful of best family physicians in Massachusetts. Dr. Abramson is the author of Overdosed America: The Broken Promise of American Medicine. He has been published in the New York Times and LA Times has made more than 50 appearances on national television, including two appearances on The Today Show.
