Workshop II: Research Skills - Getting Started With the Basics
This workshop orients novice faculty researchers to the basics of educational and clinical research design, planning, implementation, and communication. Participants have an opportunity to refine a research question, determine the research design most appropriate for this specific question, ask questions of experienced researchers, and share ideas for future research.

Workshop Objectives

  • Develop a focused research question
  • Discuss research designs and which are most appropriate for specific types of questions
  • Identify available resources to assist in research planning and implementation
  • Discuss appropriate tools and methods for managing data
  • Describe requirements for publication of research results

Fee: $195. Limit 25 participants.
