This project aims to conduct a national needs assessment of faculty development delivery and dissemination methods. This will be accomplished through a process of establishing consensus among experts with regard to the most effective strategies and structure for faculty development.

Objectives

  • Identify and describe existing state-of-the-art innovative methods for delivering faculty development;
  • Describe a process and structure whereby regional centers of excellence, traveling "train-the-trainers" teams, workshops, etc., might be used to reach all family medicine faculty with faculty development within 5 years.
