Use of STFM Name Policy
  
 
Policy for STFM groups, task forces, or committees requesting the use of STFM’s name on printed or electronic material.
  1. Requests from STFM groups, task forces, or committees asking to use STFM’s name on printed or electronic material will be forwarded to the Communications Committee for review and final approval. The written request should include a draft of the printed piece or the uniform resource locator (URL) of the Web site.

  2. If approved, the group using the STFM name must agree to use the following disclaimer on its index page:

    "This site was created by the (STFM GROUP/COMMITTEE). The site was reviewed on (DATE) by the STFM Communications Committee but has not been reviewed or endorsed by the STFM Board of Directors.

  3. This policy applies to requests made after January 1997.
