What are forums?
The forums are a place for attendees to gather to discuss sessions, hot topics, and build a community around the conference. Reply to threads already created, or create a new thread to get a conversation started.
What are on-demand sessions?
Pre-recorded, 25-30 minute sessions available anytime convenient for you. These presentations are sorted by category and can be searched by presenter or title. After you view each presentation, leave comments, thoughts, or questions for the speaker and other attendees.
How long do I have access to the conference content?
Your registration includes 90 days of access to conference content.
What if I am unable to attend live? What access will registrants have to on-demand programming?
After a live session is over, a recording of that live session will be made available in the on-demand presentation library. You will be able to view any presentation for up to 90 days.
I am trying to register for the conference, but I cannot log into my account because I forgot my password.
You can reset your password by following the steps below.
Go to stfm.org and click “My Account”
Click the “Forgot Password” link (below Login button)
Enter your username (primary email address in your profile) to reset your password
In your email box, you should receive an email with the subject line “Your new STFM password.” Click on the link inside the email.
You will be prompted to enter your username again (primary email address in your profile)
On the next page, enter a new password. • Passwords must be at least 8 characters in length with any combination of letters and numbers. Special characters are optional. •Your password can not be the same as any of your previous passwords.

Browser We recommend using Google Chrome instead of Internet Explorer, Safari, or Mozilla.
Clearing Your Cache At the top right go to “Settings” and scroll down to “Privacy and Security” Click “Clear Browsing History”. Uncheck Browsing History and only choose to clear cache and cookies. Once you have determined that you want to proceed, hit “Clear Data”
Incognito Window If you cannot view the Reset Password page, please copy the link and open an incognito/private browsing window in Chrome. Using your keyboard, (Ctrl + Shift + N) OR In the top right of your browser, click the 3 vertical dots > Click New Incognito Window. Paste the link in your browser’s address bar and hit “Enter.”

How do I find my presentation in the on demand content?
When you are logged into the conference website. Click "search" in the top navigation bar. You can then search by presentation title or presenter name.
You will select the presentation and will see the comment section at the bottom of the page.
When do I need to be available to present?
All pre-recorded and poster presentations will be available for viewing anytime during and following the conference for 90 days. Therefore presenters don't need to be available a specific date/time. Attendees can leave comments/questions for your presentations so presenters are encouraged to check on their presentation page periodically to respond.
Why were only some sessions chosen to present live and how they were chosen?
Members of the CPQI Steering Committee, along with STFM staff, identified the highest rated presentations from submission reviews, and have included topics most requested by conference attendees, and of most interest and relevance to practice and quality improvement. Based on responses to a poll from some of our STFM members, we realize that time is limited for the busy virtual attendee (competing with work, home, family, etc), and therefore we limited our number of live presentations to accommodate and maximize attendee participation. All presenters are invited and encouraged to participate as an on-demand virtual presentation, and use the comment/chat features to communicate with attendees.
How do I add a presenter to my presentation?
You can add co-presenters to your presentation by following the steps below.
• Under “My Current Submissions,” select “Update Participants”
• Copy the text in the blue box and email it to the presenter that needs added.
Once the co-presenter receives the email, they need to click on the link and log into the portal.
• Select a “Role” from the drop-down menu (authors are lead presenters, co-authors are presenters)
• Hit “Add”
• Click on the “Home” link on the top right.
• Click Update disclosure in the left corner, if it has not already been updated.
What options do presenters have if they aren't able to present virtually at the 2020 conference?
We realize that not all presentations are transferable to 30-minutes, or that presenters may not be able to present virtually. If that is the case, we encourage you to submit for the 2021 Conference on Quality and Practice Improvement, September 12-15, 2021 in Denver, CO. We will not be transferring submissions or presentations from 2020 to 2021. We hope that you will submit for 2021, and include new, updated information for your 2020 submission—or share a new project/research. The 2021 Conference on Quality and Practice Improvement Call for Presentations will open at www.stfm.org/cpqi in November 2020.
