Accepting Submissions for the Conference on Medical Student Education

The Conference on Medical Student Education is geared specifically to medical educators who shape and inspire the next generation to be competent, dedicated, and passionate physicians for the future. A focus of this year’s conference will be “Inspiring Learners. We encourage faculty to support and mentor student and resident presentations and posters on the topic of family medicine education. We also encourage students, residents and clerkship coordinators to develop presentations targeted for their own groups.

Preferential consideration will be given to submissions that include any of the following:

  • Presenters from two or more distinct institutions (Multi-institutional)
  • Students, residents, or other learners included in the list of presenters
  • Presenters from two or more distinct professions (Interprofessional)

CERA, the CAFM Educational Research Alliance , is now accepting proposals for research questions for the next member survey of family medicine residency program directors. This survey will be sent to program directors in August 2013.
