November 5, 2025—STFM is seeking applications for a Scholarship Leader for the highly competitive New Faculty Scholars program. This is a volunteer position within one of STFM's scholarships for family medicine educators.

Position Details and Tenure
The position begins with a shadowing period in February 2026. The 4-year term begins June 2026 and is renewable for another 4-year term.
The scholarship leader:
- Facilitates monthly STFM New Faculty Scholars Webinars and the in-person program meeting at the STFM Annual Spring Conference
- Works with program chair and STFM staff to determine dates and times of the New Faculty Scholars Webinars
- Identifies and invites presenters for the year around topics of scholarship and other topics
- Review evaluations
The estimated time commitment is 3–4 hours per month once monthly webinars start and additional preparation time prior to the start of the webinars.
