Announcing the 2023-2024 STFM Board of Directors Resident Representative Paola Lepe-Chowdhury, MD
September 5, 2023—Paola Lepe-Chowdhury, MD, has been selected as the 2023-2024 STFM Board of Directors Resident Representative. Dr Lepe-Chowdhury is in her second year of Residency at Stanford Health Care-Sponsored Stanford University Program. She replaces T. Austin Witt, MD, from the Duke University Family Medicine Residency Program.
As a first-generation Latina to pursue a career in medicine, Dr Lepe-Chowdhury dedicates herself to healing with intention. Her commitment to medicine is rooted in social justice and understanding the social determinants that affect the health outcomes of marginalized communities.
