Volunteers Needed for Assessment of STFM's AI/ML in Primary Care Curriculum
February 12, 2025—The Society of Teachers of Family Medicine (STFM) is seeking volunteers to participate in a pilot assessment of the AiM-PC (Artificial intelligence and Machine Learning for Primary Care) Curriculum.
This project has been led by STFM and the American Board of Family Medicine, and was funded by the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation. AiM-PC will equip learners to assess and use artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) products in primary care settings.
Eligibility to join the assessment of the curriculum includes overseeing curricular content (e.g., courses, clerkships, rotations, or electives) in medical schools or primary care residency programs (family medicine, pediatrics, or internal medicine) and either having or intending to implement the AiM-PC curriculum at your institution. STFM members and non-members are invited to participate.
If you agree to participate, you will complete follow-up surveys that will assess your experience implementing the curriculum. There are no costs associated with accessing AiM-PC, and there is no compensation associated with participation. Participation in this project is completely voluntary and does not impact your certification status. The risk of participation is breach of confidentiality, as we will be collecting names and email addresses.
