CERA is accepting applications for this leadership role from any active member of any CAFM organization (ADFM, AFMRD, NAPCRG, or STFM) with research knowledge and expertise. Survey Directors are appointed by the CERA Steering Committee Chair.
Committee Tenure: 2 years, with an optional second 2-year term after that

- Curriculum vitae
- Personal statement of interest (max 350 words)
- (Optional) A 1-2 minute video recording of yourself answering the question “Why do you want to serve as the CERA General Membership Survey Chair?" (Recommended process: record yourself on Zoom and download/save the recording as an .MP4 file to attach to your email application)
Eligibility
Any active member of any CAFM organization (ADFM, AFMRD, NAPCRG, or STFM) with research knowledge and expertise. Survey Directors are appointed by the CERA Steering Committee Chair.
Responsibilities
- Participate annually in one in-person, half-day meeting at the STFM Annual Spring Conference, two annual virtual half day meetings, plus conference calls/email discussions as needed to offer ideas and make decisions on the priorities, direction, and initiatives of CERA
- Assign reviewers and review proposals for omnibus survey inclusion
- Assist in the selection of proposals for the General Membership Survey
- Appoint and manage mentors for accepted proposals
- Ensure that surveys are of high quality and completed on time
- Travel to CERA meetings: Paid by CERA (one in-person meeting per year)
