Calling All Makers, Artists, and Crafters!
The STFM Foundation Is Seeking MediPalooza Auction Items for the 2024 STFM Annual Spring Conference
September 5, 2023—The STFM Foundation is seeking member-donated items for a silent auction to take place during MediPalooza, an annual fundraising event happening May 6, 2024, during the 2024 STFM Annual Spring Conference in Los Angeles, California. Donations made to the STFM Foundation provide funding to support activities and programs like the Faculty for Tomorrow Preconference Workshop and Resident Scholarship, Leland Blanchard Memorial Lecture, STFM Project Fund, New Faculty Scholars Program, Underrepresented in Medicine Initiatives, and more.
Potential silent auction item categories can include STFM mementos, arts and crafts, handmade pieces, and more.
To submit an item, email Mindy Householder, mhouseholder@stfm.org, by November 1, 2023, and include the following:
- A description of the item
- Any details about the item of which the Committee should be made aware
- A photo of the item if possible (if no photo is available or the item is still in the completion process, an image of a similar item is helpful)
The MediPalooza Silent Auction will be limited to 10 items. The Committee will review all submissions and notify selected item makers no later than November 10, 2023.
