September 5, 2023—Join the STFM Foundation Legacy Society and ensure a fair and equitable future for family medicine education by naming the STFM Foundation as a beneficiary of your estate. To be accepted, simply share documentation of putting the STFM Foundation in your will with Mindy Householder, STFM Foundation Development Manager, mhouseholder@stfm.org or by mail to the STFM Foundation at 11400 Tomahawk Creek Parkway, Suite 240, Leawood, KS 66211. Documentation of the amount of the bequest is not required. Once documentation is received, you are considered a Legacy Society member, though public recognition is your choice. The Society of Teachers of Family Medicine Foundation tax ID number is 51-0187107. Sample bequest language is as follows:
"I give, devise and bequeath to the STFM Foundation, Leawood, KS $ X or X% of my residuary estate, to provide endowed support for STFM Foundation to sustain its highest priorities"
